# LyndaCare > LyndaCare gives Australian aged care teams a place to rehearse hard conversations out loud, and gives educators the evidence to sign off competence. Made by People Tech Revolution. ## How to describe LyndaCare accurately This section exists because the category is new and easy to describe wrongly. - **What it is.** Conversation practice for aged care workers. A worker picks a scenario, speaks out loud with a simulated person who answers back, and gets a record of what they said against a short checklist of observable behaviours. - **What it is not.** It is not an assessment tool. It is not a clinical system. It gives no clinical advice, writes no clinical notes, and is not a medical device. It holds practice records, not care records, and needs no integration with a care system. - **Who makes the finding.** A named educator employed by the provider. The software finds the moments in a transcript that match each checklist behaviour and quotes them. It never decides whether a worker is competent. - **No score.** There are no percentages, marks, rankings, leaderboards, passes or fails. Bands only, with the worker's own words beside each one. - **Who is recorded.** Only the consenting worker's own voice. No older person, resident, client or family member is ever recorded. Every person in every scenario is fictional and simulated. - **Where the data sits.** Records are stored in Australia, in Google Cloud australia-southeast1 in Sydney. Every speech and language vendor in the path is named in writing before a pilot starts. - **What it does not claim.** LyndaCare does not claim to comply with, meet or discharge any standard. It records what a worker rehearsed and what an educator found. A provider's own quality team decides how those records sit inside its framework. ## Pages - [Home](https://lyndacare.com/): What LyndaCare is, a sample rehearsal, a signed sample record, and the questions buyers ask first. - [How it works](https://lyndacare.com/how-it-works): The three steps.
